At Honora Bay we can offer you rides through forests and fields and over creeks and streams - all in the beautiful Manitoulincountryside. Manitoulin is the largest fresh water island in the world and home to some of the most spectacular scenery in northern Ontario. Located within walking distance from Silver Birches Resort on Honora Bay's pristine waterfront, and just 15 minutes away from downtown Little Current, a trail ride at Honora Bay Riding Stable is easy to fit into your vacation or weekend plans. 

Our experienced, friendly and knowledgeable staff will guide all rides with 2-way radios and have an exceptional safety record. We have over 30 horses at the stable, of all breeds and personalities. Our horses are well cared for and able to take out a variety of rides - from beginner to advanced.  

Riding Lessons: In addition to trail rides,  Honora Bay Stable offers a number of different services including wedding carriages and riding lessons.   Learning how to ride properly and developing a relationship with a horse is an enjoyable learning experience for young and old alike. Our new outdoor riding arena is great for learning the basics of riding, or fine tuning your riding skills, under the instruction of a CHA Level 2 Western and English certified coach. (Association for Horsemanship Safety and Education).
